Obituary of Jean Jessie Rideout

RIDEOUT, Jean (Boyle)

Died peacefully at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on Sunday, December 10th, 2023, Jean Jessie Joron, dearly loved wife of Don Rideout, in her 83rd year. Survived by her sons Kevin (Maggie) of Chilliwack and Blair Boyle (Christine) of Brampton, and her 3 loving granddaughters, Laura, Megan, and Chiara. Also survived by her Rideout family, John (Tammy), Doug (Anne), Sue Allen (Rob) and Sandy Martin (Paul) as well as their children and grandchildren. Also survived by her brothers Wilfred Joron of Dutton, ON and Brian Joron of Mont. St. Gregoire, QC. Jean and Don met while volunteering at the Carousel, then Don introduced her to modern square dancing where they made many friends. Jean was a long-time member and Honourary Elder of Trinity United Church and enjoyed volunteering at the Carousel, The Gathering Place and Trinity United Church Food Bank.

Visitation will be held at Martyn Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 13th from 6-8 p.m. and at Trinity United Church on Thursday, December 14th from 1 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 2 p.m.
