STEVENS: Robert Donald ‘Bob’

A proud and independent man who accepted his failing health with grace passed away at Cassellholme on Friday, September 1st, 2023, in his 76th year.

Bob was the loved husband of Wendy Darline (née Wadge). He will be missed by his family, children Holly Stevens (Gilbert), Vincent Stevens (Shannon), and his grandchildren Brody, Ashten, and Quinnlan. Bob will be fondly remembered by his brother Walter (Barb) and their children Keri Ann & Kelly. Sadly missed by Wendy’s brothers, Terry Wadge, Rick Wadge, and their families.

Bob worked for Canada Post for 35 years. His smiling face greeted customers when they walked to the Post Office on Worthington and Ferguson. He served as a Shop Stewart for many years, proud to represent his members.

Bob enjoyed giving back to his community and was a longtime North Bay Elk’s Lodge No 25 member. He volunteered many hours at the Lodge, and his pleasant humour helped pass the time as he worked with his brothers and sisters. He was pleased to have served his term as the Exhaled Ruler of the Elks Lodge 25.

Friends & family are welcome to attend a graveside service at North Bay Union Cemetery (Golf Course Road) on Saturday, October 14th at 12 p.m.  Reception to follow at the West Ferris Legion, Branch #599 from 1-4 p.m.

The family would especially like to thank everyone at Cassellholme for their care and attention to Bob.
