It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Michael Burke on August 6, 2023, in Mattawa.

Michael is survived by his loving father, Gerry, his sister, Sue, and his nephew, Tyler. He also leaves behind his cherished cousins, Peter, Perry, and Angela, as well as his close friend, Mario.

One of Michael's greatest joys in life was being in nature. He found solace and peace in the outdoors, whether it was casting a line while fishing or navigating the serene waters in a canoe. His love for nature was a testament to his adventurous spirit and his appreciation for the simple beauty that surrounded him.

In addition to his passion for nature, Michael had an extraordinary talent for music. His skillful guitar playing, and musical prowess were admired by all who had the privilege of hearing him.

As per Michael’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no funeral service.
