Obituary of Verna Elaine Feindel

FEINDEL (née Schultz): Verna, passed away peacefully at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on June 5, 2023.

 

Verna the beloved wife of the late Max Layman (1970) and Lester Feindel (2010). She was 90 years old.

 

Survived by daughters-in-law, Lorrie Layman, and Leisa Macedo, and 1 son-in-law Emile St. George.

 

She was predeceased by her children Kathryn St George, (2022), 3 sons, Barry Layman (1999), Gary Layman (2010), Douglas Layman (2019) infant daughter (1960) and a grandson Eric (2004).

 

She will be lovingly remembered by her 9 grandchildren; Nicole Hysert (Tim), Brandy Young (Matt), Jeffrey St. George (Mary), Colette St. George (Agus), Mark Layman (Catherine), Amanda Hansen (Charlie), Brandy, Jesse, Jasmine, her great-grandchildren, Cassandra (Tyler), Trinity, Alanna, Sarah, Finnian, Kaleb, Jack, Ellie, Max, Liam, Evelyn, Declan, Bryanna and a great great granddaughter, Aspen.

 

 Predeceased by her parents, Verner, and Margaret (Hampel) Schultz and her brother Clifford Schultz. Also remembered by her sisters-in-law, Marilyn Schultz of Welland and Kathleen Moss (Lloyd) of Pembroke.

 

As per Verna’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a graveside service will be held on Friday, August 18th, at 11 am at Grace Lutheran Church Rankin Cemetery in Pembroke.
