Obituary of Suzanne Jacqueline Yeates

Please share a memory of Suzanne to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

YEATES, Suzanne

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Suzanne Yeates on May 27, 2023. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at the North Bay Regional Health Centre.

Suzanne was a selfless and devoted wife to her loving husband Victor for 52 wonderful years. She was a proud mother to Stephen (Lauren) and Carol-Ann (Denis), caring step-mother to Richard (Laura) and Brian, and a doting grandmother to Danielle, Robyn, and Finley.

Suzanne will be deeply missed by her extended family and friends. She was known for her infinite kindness, creativity and desire to learn new skills. She loved music and playing the fiddle. She was also a talented gardener and cook, and was particularly skilled at making Caramel Heavenlies.  Her hand-knitted/crocheted gifts will be cherished by those close to her. Suzanne was a faithful volunteer with the Catholic Church and brought a smile to everyone she met.

A Memorial Service for Suzanne will be held on Friday, June 9, 2023 at 10:30am, at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church (895 Memorial Drive)

Donations in Suzanne’s memory may be made to Canadian Cancer Society, and/or Music Matters North Bay.
