Randolph “Randy” Peter DeFreitas

September 8, 1933 – February 21, 2023

Passed away at North Bay Regional Health Centre in his 90th year. Randy was the beloved husband of the late Janice McParland (nee Hargrave).

Predeceased by his parents John and Ursula, his brothers Romeo, Jerome and Johnny, his sister Elaine and son John.

Survived by his sister Elva and his sons, Philip (Linda), Clement, Stephen (Christine), and stepchildren Mary Lou Leblanc (Glenn), Tom McParland (Fran), and Carolyn Pitman. Randy had a special place in his heart for his son-in-law Phil Leblanc.

Randy will be deeply missed by his grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Randy was a long time member of the North Bay Masonic Lodge and the North Bay Rorab Shrine Club with the Clown Unit as Mabee the clown.

Visitation will be held at Martyn Funeral Home (464 Wyld St. North Bay) on Friday, March 3, 2023 from 12:00pm – 2:00pm with a service to follow at 2:00pm.

If desired, donations to the North Bay Rorab Shrine Club would be appreciated by the family.
