Obituary of Sylvia Yvonne Leblond
With great sadness, the family announces Sylvia’s passing at North Bay Regional Health Centre on Wednesday February 22, 2023 at the age of 78 years.
Sylvia leaves behind her beloved husband of 58 years, Joe Leblond. She will be forever missed by her grandson Michel Duchesne and daughter Jeannine Cosman, her husband Neil and children Amanda, Stephanie, Taylor and Justin.
Also survived by her sisters Jeanne d’Arc Rancourt (Gilles), Lee Ann Valois (Leo) and brothers Emile and Bruno (Sue) Shank and her many cherished nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her parents Joseph and Aldora Shank, brothers Raymond, Leon, Rosaire, Rene and sister Marie.
Sylvia was a long-time member of the North Bay Golden Age Club and the Ladies Tuesday Bowling League at Partners.
Visitation will be held at the Martyn Funeral Home on Saturday February 25th from 2-4 pm followed by a funeral service in the chapel at 7:30 pm.
