Obituary of Leonie Marie Blanchette

A Lifelong Resident of Mattawa

Passed away peacefully at the Algonquin Nursing Home, on Wednesday, February 8, 2023. Leonie was the beloved wife of the late Willy Blanchette, she was 97 years old. Loving mother of Evelyn Latour and her husband Glen. She will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Donna (Chris), Craig (Wanda), Brandon and by her great grandchildren Donovan, Ashley, Rowan, great-great granddaughter Mary. Predeceased by her parents Joseph and Emily Pellerin, and by her many siblings. Respecting Leonie’s wishes her family will hold a Private Family Service at a later date. Cremation will be held at the Forest Lawn Crematorium. If desired, donations to the Algonquin Nursing Home would be appreciated by his family. Arrangements entrusted to the Martyn & Sloan “Mattawa Chapel”.
