Aunt Rose was my favourite Aunt, especially after spending a week with her when I was 10 years old. She was one of a kind and so welcoming whenever we passed through North Bay. May she Rest In Peace.
With love and sympathy,

Fond memories of Mrs. McGale are plentiful.
From her famous , delicious cheese bread and coconut/peanut butter/sweet marie balls, to her life sustaining frozen dinners during my university days with Deborah, her kindness and toughtfulness shone through.
Her sweet smile and graciousness were always so welcoming whether we were just popping by for a ' pit stop' or attending a family function.
She was a classy lady with great style who will be missed dearly.
Sincere condolences and deepest sympathies ,
Deb and Joe

I met Rose many times at her home on the lake and often at events or concerts with her famous son John. I will always remember her as a very sweet lady with a beautiful smile. My condolences to Db and Dan.

Dear Dan and Debbie,
I offer you my sincere condolences for your loss but God's gain ! Try to remember that the bonds of love that linked your mom to her loved ones have not been destroyed, the bond of her physical presence is broken but the ties of love are transformed, they are invisible and silent but remain real, dwell deep within the soul and have a way of surfacing to the heart by bringing back many wonderful, joyful and perhaps sad and difficult memories and events, all realities of what made her human and real.
May I suggest you stand still in the heart of your grief and feel Aunt Rose's presence! Whisper her secrets of love and wait for that special moment of calm and serenity that will overcome your sorrow. In time your grieving will take you to places unknown so just go forward and trust in God's unconditional love and compassion. From this experience, love, hope, courage and strength will abound and bring peace to your heart.
With all my love and in prayer,
Sr. Kay Toner, vsm

My deepest condolences Debbie and Dan. It was with much sorrow that I heard of Aunt Rose’s passing. She was a grand lady, always welcoming, such a beautiful smile, warm and generous. Your mom and aunt Ann held a special place in my heart. She had a great devotion to St Therese of the Child Jesus and I am sure she was greeted at the pearly gates with an avalanche of roses. Rest in peace dear Aunt Rose.

As a teenager I spent many hours a week with Deborah and Mrs McGale at their home. My most fond memories of her, was always fresh baked goods for us after school. She always was welcoming and interested in our day and she greeted us with a wonderful smile. She was a very gentle and genuine lady and I am thankful for time spent with her.
