Neil Herbert Wigney

On January 2, 2023, with his family by his side, Neil suddenly but peacefully passed into the presence of his Lord and Saviour at NBRHC in his 70^th year.  Beloved husband of Sue, loving father of David and Aaron (Jessica) and devoted grandfather of Nora and Levi.  Brother of Sharon and the late Doreen(infant), brother-in-law of Peter (Cindy) Collver.  Uncle of Meagan (Ken) and Carissa (Tyson) and great-uncle of Owen. Son of the late Clarence and Hazel Wigney, son-in-law of the late Hugh and Sybil Collver.  He will be fondly remembered by extended family that always held a special place in his heart.

Visitation will be at Martyn Funeral Home on Friday January 6, 2023 from 6pm to 8pm and again on Saturday January 7, 2023 at 1pm at South Shore Evangelical Missionary Church 1892 Hwy 654 W Callander,ON with service to follow at 2pm.  Pastor Simon Beadle officiating.

Interment will be in Sault Ste. Marie at a later date. 

Memorial donations to Galilean Bible Camp, North Bay Regional Health Centre Foundation – Critical Care or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.   To honour Neil’s lifelong passion for gardening we encourage you to remember him by planting seeds in his memory.
