Obituary of Miles Curtis Peters

Please share a memory of Miles to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Following a rather lengthy illness under the excellent care of Dr. J Pace and Dr. Jinnah and in the last weeks from the amazing staff at Serenity Hospice, Miles Curtis Peters passed away peacefully on December 4, 2022.

Having received notice of his pending passing on his seventy fifth birthday (Born May 20, 1947) Miles declared that the past few months spent with his children, grandchildren, family, and friends were some of his most cherished and valued days in his lifetime. He felt profoundly blessed and extremely grateful to everyone for their prayers, encouragement, love, and support.

Miles spent his career as an independent entrepreneur building multiple corporations within the mining, forestry, railway, defence, telecommunications, and pipeline industries. He was a passionate leader, outspoken activist and was continuously honoured to serve his community.

Miles is survived by his three children.

Ryan (Lisa) Grandson James (7) and Granddaughter Zaria (26).

Stacia (Seth) Granddaughter Harlan (5) and Grandson Delainey (2).

Sarah (Joshua) and Granddaughter Emily-Grace (13).

Sister Gayle (Steven) and Brother William (Glenda) (Noreen).

Nieces and Nephews Eric, Tess, Aaron-Kane, Nathan, Naomi (and their families).

Miles was predeceased by his older brother Kenneth (Kathy), Nephew Randall, Father Gordon, Mother Sadie.

Also survived by Lorraine, mother of his 3 children and Dan Middleton father of Emily-Grace who both remain a big part of the family.

Especially appreciative to his special friend Debbie Weiler for her ongoing support and assistance as he navigated through his recent life and health issues.
