Ross Herman Fitz

January 8, 1939 – August 6, 2022

With a heavy heart, we announce the passing of Ross Herman Fitz. A wonderful, loving husband to Barb and a great father to Sandy (spouse Greg Pawson), Kevin (spouse Kelly), and Chris (spouse Terri). He was also a loving grandfather to Jessica, Bradley, Adam, Isaac, Sara, Kimberly, and Rebecca and a great grandfather to Breanna. Ross leaves behind his sister Doreen and brother Leslie. Ross grew up on a farm and later attended trade school to become an excellent Class A mechanic, which he did until age 73. Ross’s favourite passions were golfing, hunting, fishing, atving, and snowmobiling which he often did with his family and friends. In Ross’s early years, he was the assistant coach for his sons playing in the West Ferris Minor Hockey League. Ross will be remembered as a selfless man who would do anything to help out family, friends, and even strangers. As per his final request, no funeral service will be held, but a celebration of life will occur later.
