Robert (Bob) D. Studholme
It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of Robert (Bob) Donald Studholme at Cassellholme in North Bay on June 27, 2022 in his 97th year. He will be forever missed by his wife of 70 years Eileen (Burke), his sons Christopher (Helene) of Ottawa and Donald (Helene) and grandchildren Eric and Julie (Peter) of Kirkland Lake. Predeceased by his father Percy and his mother Elisabeth (Bernard), brothers Lloyd Bell and Jon and sisters Dorothy (Cote) and Jean (Fitzgerald). Forever remembered by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Bob served in the Second World War. He worked for Cochrane Dunlop Hardware for 40 years. Bob has been a member of the ACT, Legion Branch 23, Canadian Owners & Pilots Association, a life member of the 406 Wing RCAF, long term member of the North Bay Granite Club and a campaign volunteer for the North Bay and District Hospital Foundation. Bob was on the advisory committee for Warren Memorial Cenotaph. He was inducted in the North Bay Sports Hall of Fame (Rudy Steski Curling Team) who won the National Legion Curling Championship. He was also inducted in the West Nipissing Sports Hall of Fame (Field Eagles Hockey - Goalie). Bob was chairman of Project Flanders (Memorial Wall). He was presented the Queen’s Golden Jubilee Medal in 2002 and the Minister of Veterans Affairs Commendation in Ottawa in 2007.

A visitation for Bob will take place on Wednesday, July 6, 2022 from 10:00am - 11:00am at the Martyn Funeral Home (464 Wyld St. North Bay) followed by a service in the Martyn Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00am. A private family burial will follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or the North Bay Regional Health Centre.
