Obituary of Ernie Hedican

December 31, 1931- April 17, 2022.

It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Ernie Joseph Hedican on Sunday April 17, 2022. Peacefully, with dignity and his belief in The Resurrection, he passed into God’s hands surrounded by the love of family at age 90.

Ernie was the loving and devoted father of Mary-Lynn (Dale Hall) and Tom (Nancy Ann Hedican) and predeceased by his loving wife, Shirley.
Predeceased by his sisters Marie Phillips, Sheila Landry, brother Donald, parents Anthony and Helena Hedican. Ernie was an employee of International Nickel Company (Vale) for many years.

Family will be receiving friends at Martyn Funeral Home on Sunday April 24, 2022 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Pro Cathedral of the Assumption on Monday, April 25, 2022 at 1:00 pm. Internment at All Saints Mausoleum.

At the family’s request masks must be worn. Donations to the North Bay Food Bank would be appreciated. The family wishes to extend its gratitude to the caring staff on Complex Continuing Care B1 at the North Bay Regional Health Centre.
