Obituary of Marie Genevieve Stewart

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Genevieve Marie (Meemee) Stewart, after a long illness, surrounded by family.

 

She will be forever missed by her husband Thom and her 4 children (James, Mark, Kelly and Michele) and their spouses, her 12 grandchildren and her 4 great grandchildren and her many dear friends.

 

Marie had a lifelong love of Family, Northern Ontario and was an avid member of the local art community wherever she lived. She has touched many over the years through her artistry and contributions and will continue to live on through her many works of art.

 

A celebration of Marie's life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Nipissing Manor Nursing Home, any Art program or the Alzheimer’s society would be greatly appreciated.
