Harold died peacefully at North Bay Hospital with the help of M.A.iD. on Thursday, February 10, 2022, at 2:05 P.M. with his lifelong friend Laura Foreman by his side.

Harold was born in Toronto to parents Lease Bray and Donald McMullen. Both deceased. "Number one son," as his dad would say. He leaves behind his five siblings Donna McLean (Mike), Mary Tingey (Bill), Peter (Pat), Ralp (Karen), Lisa Wood (Keith). In addition, he leaves 12 nieces and nephews. His children Rebeca Dahle (Mike), Donald (Ninette), and grandchildren Ryan, Sofia, and Benjamin are remembered. He was also predeceased by his children's mother Patty Coulter- McMullen and his wife Carma Marie.

Harold was raised and lived most of his life in Port Carling. He was a skilled carpenter, painter, and handyman in the Muskokas. His witty comebacks and humor kept the work crews in good spirits as they worked hard. Years of hard work took their toll on his body. He was always devoted to his many dogs and believed the phrase man's best friend. He enjoyed relaxing by the lake with family and friends and was a fun-loving guy. He was lovingly called "Happy Harold" by some for his Eeyore pessimistic, gloomy outlook, as he made fun of everyday life in a small town. He sometimes called "Hen" because he raised backyard chickens off and on. He made friends easily and will be fondly remembered by his lifelong chums, Jeffery Cameron, Laura Foreman, Dave Bissel, Steve Buckingdale, Leon and Karen Weeks. Leaving behind memories of fun, frolic, and good times.

Nobody's perfect. We make mistakes. We say wrong things. We do wrong things. We fall. We get up. We learn. We grow. We move on. We live. We die
