Malcolm Edward McLean

October 21, 1928 – February 6, 2022       

Peacefully, with his family by his side, Malcolm “Mac” passed away on February 6, 2022.

Malcolm was born in Sherbrooke, Quebec. Predeceased by his parents Malcolm McLean and Bertha Mills. Survived by his wife Christine (Mirault) of forty years. Father of Andrea McLean, Allison Pomerleau (Robert), Jennifer Delorme (Kevin), and Malcolm “Mackie” McLean (Crystal). Grandfather of Nigel, Katrina, Audrey, Alice, Lillian, and Violet. Malcolm is survived by his sister Marguerite Weaver. Predeceased by his siblings, Hugh, Helen, and Gertie. Malcolm was a very proud and strong man. He enjoyed spending time at his sawmill and having coffee with his friends. As per his wishes, there will be no visitation or service. Thank you to the incredible staff at the Algonquin Nursing Home for their love, care, and compassion. We have the best in Mattawa!
