The Alkins family wishes to share the news of the peaceful passing of Denise Alkins at the North Bay Regional Hospital on Dec 9 2021. Born on Aug 25, 1949 with the maiden name of Fortin, she will be missed by her loving husband John, his brother Jim (partner to Trish) and her son Robert. She took comfort in the thought of being reunited with her late sister Jackie Oman, and will be remembered by her brothers Michel married to Rita, Jean married to Ann, Albert marred to Karin and Peter father of Chantal (daughter of Jeanette) who was the closest of Denise's many nieces and nephews.
Denise approached each day with an unparalleled positivity that will be a continuing source of inspiration to all who knew her.
