So sorry to hear of Runester's passing.
My husband and I knew him as he frequented our business many years ago. After we closed the business, we would see him downtown at our places of work. We always enjoyed chatting with him. He always asked how our now adult children are doing. In fact... he and I had many conversations about bagpipes. I played the pipes a few times for him. The last time he heard me play a few years ago, I gave him my pipes to try to play them. He was absolutely tickled to give 'em a blow! I will miss seeing Runester around. He always brightened my day. He will be missed.
