With a mixture of sadness and joy we wish to inform you that Carol Elizabeth Shantz (nee Hallman) left us to join her Saviour and God, the Lord Jesus Christ in her 86^th year on August 3, 2021. Predeceased by her husband Bob Shantz, Carol will be missed by her children Pat (Randy) Bushey, Gloria Collier, Sandy (Jay) Calder, Anna (Rod) Brooks, Merv (Jen) Shantz, 18 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren, siblings Marie (Jim) Weiss and Hugh Hallman, sisters-in-law Alice (Fred) Hornburg, Dorothy Shantz, Fern Shantz.

Funeral and visitation will be at Lakeshore Missionary Church Saturday morning (August 7).  Pre-registration with Martyn Funeral Home, at 705-472-8810 (Social Distancing during the visiting must be observed and Masks are Mandatory while in the Church). 

The family would like to thank Dr. Jinnah and the Nipissing Serenity Hospice staff for the compassionate care and friendship they provided mom.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the Lakeshore Missionary Church missions fund or to the Nipissing Serenity Hospice.
