My sincere condolences to Bill's family and friends ... what a great picture of him that you have posted! That is really him! I knew Bill through the Emmanuel church and later, used to visit with him and Bea at the NB Symphony, as well. What a lovely man--so warm and whimsical. May he rest in peace... and may you all build a new relationship with him in spirit....

I was so sorry to hear about Uncle Bill's passing. It has been many decades since I visited him and Auntie Marg with my parents and Elizabeth and I would play/hang out together. We have been thinking about him often these days. That picture is exactly how I always remember him - a pipe in his hands and a wonderful twinkle in his eyes! Thinking of everyone in the family at this sad time.

Bill will always be remembered as a kind, and helpful friend. Bill and Margaret welcomed me to North Bay on the occasion of my Company move there, actually 64 years ago. Their door was always open and many dinners enjoyed at their beautiful home on the shores of Lake Nipissing. During this time I met Bob , now my husband of 60 years . Our thoughts are with Bill's family at this difficult time. In the coming months, we sincerely hope that Covid will allow us to celebrate a life well lived.

I met your father over a year ago and truly enjoyed seeing him weekly with his smile.
I saw how well loved he was by his children when I met them.
Your dad will be truly missed as I drive by his home.

Janet, Doug, and Elizabeth,
So sorry to hear of your father's passing. I have many good memories of the summer we spent in the old family cottage on Lake Nipissing 60 years ago. Some of the best were just hanging with Uncle Bill; building a miniature golf course with re-purposed soup cans, or getting my first soldering lesson while "we" built a stereo pre-amp from a kit in the evenings. He was a big reason why I ended up in electrical engineering as a profession, a decision I've never regretted. The last time we saw him was at Aleda's service at Lake Champlain, and I don't think he had changed much at all.
I'm sure you have countless more good memories with him over these many years, and they will help you get through this difficult time.
Love and best wishes,
Cousin Rick

Elizabeth, Janet, and Doug,
I am so sorry to hear of your dads passing . It was always such a pleasure cleaning his home. I will never forget that laugh and how he always answered my " how are you this morning Bill?" With " oh pretty good for an old guy." He always made me feel so welcome when I was there. I love the picture you chose of him. He always had a pipe in his mouth when I was there haha. I will definitely miss him. Thinking of you guys and the rest of your family during this difficult time.
