Thank you Mom I know that I have told you how much I love you, and I know that you know how much I love you, but I've never told the world around you why I love you as much as I do. After bringing me into this world you kept me going while health issues were conspiring to take me away. You kept me safe from harms while not stifling my sense of adventure. When I hurt myself, you kissed my bowbows better, then sent me out to learn the next lesson. When I was sad you tried to make me glad, while fighting your own sadness sometimes. You taught me to be kind, caring and forgiving to others and to myself. You taught me to treat others with respect and stand-up and speak-up when I saw others who were hurt, or sad, or being mistreated. You gently pushed me in the right direction when i wandered, and kicked me in the ass (gently) when I needed it. You "encouraged" me to "dream bigger" and "fly higher", "take chances", but "play it safe". You helped me get an education, allowed me to fly away from the nest but also told me how much you missed me. Goodness gracious this could turn into a book, there is so much to be thankful for. I was born at the right place, at the right time, into the right family and by the perfect Mom for me. You did this not only for me, but for Timmy and Debbie and Brian and Wendy. The energy, the fortitude, the determination to do this, times 5. And then to send this same energy out into the world. Family, extended family, friends and people i just pass by have added to my code. I strive to be what you inspired me to be. Thank you Mom. Loved and remembered "FOREVER and a DAY"!!
