White, Robert “Bob” Hubert

Passed away peacefully at Eastholme in Powassan on Sunday, November 29, 2020, at the age of 89 years.  Beloved husband of the late Marjorie Charlotte (nee Wylie).  Loving father of Joanne Bon of Oshawa, Carol and her husband Cliff Lang of Corbeil and Robert White and his wife Michelle of Powassan.  He will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Tara, Jeffrey, Nicole, Eric, Lauren, Jarrett, Taylor and great-grandchildren Abigail, Samantha, and Gabrielle.  Robert is predeceased by his parents James & Christine (nee Hookway) White, and his sisters and brother, Bertha “Dolly” Brown, Marjorie Phillips, Maybelle Lawson, and Charlie White. Thank you to the staff at Eastholme for their care and kindness. Visitation will be held at Martyn Funeral Home on Thursday, December 3rd, 2020 from 12 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.  To reserve a time for Visitation, please call the Martyn Funeral Home at 705-472-8810. Due to the current pandemic restrictions, those in attendance at the visitation must wear a Mask and respect Social Distancing Guidelines. A Private funeral service will be held for family followed by the burial at Callander Union Cemetery. If desired, donations to the charity of your choice or Northern Cancer Research will be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy.
