Obituary of Mary Lou Albert

Mary Lou Albert, age 90 of Sudbury passed away on Nov 20th 2020 at Cassellholme North Bay. Predeceased by her beloved husband Maurice (Joe) in 1981, and parents Vera and Norman Ford, sister Geraldine Slack.

Loving mother to her daughter Marijo Mintz (Howard) and son Norman (Elaine Beckett-Albert). Proud Grandma to Gregory, Kaitlin, Graham and Jillian.

Mary Lou was born in Belle River, Ontario on June 4th 1930. She worked for many years as a school teacher, including the Sudbury Public Board and Cambrian College.

She loved to travel and saw much of the world with her good friend Monique Tremblay, at home she spent her time in her flower and vegetable gardens as well as sewing, golfing, reading historic fiction and  playing cards with friends and family.

The family of Mary Lou Albert wishes to thank Marina Point and Cassellholme staff for their attentiveness and kindness.

A private celebration of life will take place at a later date followed by interment at St John’s Cemetery in Garson, Ontario. 

Donations in lieu of flowers to the Heart and Stroke Foundation are welcomed.
