
Obituary of Kathleen Margaret Sarrazin
With great sadness, the family of Kathleen Sarrazin (nee McConnell), regrets to share with you, her passing on Wednesday, October 7th, 2020. Kathleen, Kay, Mom, Aunty, Granny was the beloved partner of Grant O’Neil and predeceased by her husband Paul Sarrazin. At just 84 years, Kathleen was the loving mother of Rene(Lori), Edward(Susan), Paul(Margaret), Patrick(Patricia), Roger, Della Sullivan, Maryann Bellaire, Theresa Christianson and Gloria(Glen). Predeceased by her son Charles. She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Jacob, Eric, Kevin(James), Clinton, Amber(Dave), Vanessa(Leo), Glen(Jennifer), Doreen (Bob), Maureen(Grant), Samantha(Chris), Zachary, Amanda, Ashley, Chailynn, Morgan, Dexture(Meagan), Anthony, Nathaniel, Roman(Julianne), Matthew, Lisa(Brad), Amy(Dean), Stephanie, Megan, Marylou, Nicholas(Jazmin), Tony(Terry-Lynne), and by her many great grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents Jack & Phillomene McConnell, and her siblings Julia Seguin, Agnes Beaudoin, Louise Bujold, John McConnell and Dave McConnell. She is fondly remembered by her sister Elizabeth Lemure and all of their families. Kathleen’s love for her family was like no other. Operating the Sarrazin Inn, in Deux Rivieres for nearly a decade was her passion. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 17th, 2020 at 11:30am, at St. Anne's Catholic Church in Mattawa, ON. In lieu of flowers Kathleen and the family would appreciate donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada or the Canadian Diabetes Association. Her love for balloons can be recognized by sharing balloons with your loved ones as a symbol of celebration.
