Obituary of Mary Crossgrove Schubert
Schubert Mary (nee Davidson) 1929-2020
Mary passed away peacefully at the N.B.R.H.C. on October 1, just before her 91st birthday. We know Mary would want us to say her good-byes to all the cherished family, friends and neighbours who filled her long, full and satisfying life. She leaves behind Norman her loving and devoted husband of 69 years, son Brian (Susan) Schubert, daughter Lisa (Kevin) Allison, grandchildren, Dana (Jody), Ryan (Anne-Renee) and Jennifer (Porfirio), great grandchildren, Carter, Chloe, Sophie, Isabelle, Julia, William, Kennedy and Harrison. She was thankful to have lived long enough to see her grandchildren grow up to be such loving adults. Mary and Norman traveled to many countries and across Canada. She enjoyed volunteering, cross country skiing, skating and crafts. She was also a very talented pie maker. One of her great pleasures was spending time at the camp, fishing with a book in hand. She loved celebrating everyone’s birthdays and holidays. Mary valued the support of her family during her illness. Many thanks to go out to her physicians, Dr. Cathers, Dr. Gill (Sudbury) and the staff at N.B.R.H.C. Funeral service will be held Saturday, October 10, 2020 at Omond Memorial United Church. In lieu of flowers, donations can made to the Northern Cancer Foundation or the charity of your choice.
