Obituary of Jean Marlene Mary McLaren

September 30, 1933 – September 28, 2020. It is with sadness that the family of Jean Marlene McLaren announces her passing at Cassellholme on September 28, 2020. Jean will be lovingly remembered by her family Nolan, Steven and Ada Dreany and by her nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Jean is survived by her siblings Doriel Lang, Barbara (Dieter) Misch and Robert (Sally).  Jean is predeceased by her children Marcia Dreany-Lemieux and Kevin Dreany, her husband Larry Quinton, her siblings Orville, Elaine Larocque, Alden and her parents George and Rebecca McLaren. Jean was a long-time employee of Canadore College and always enjoyed sharing her knowledge and experience with adult learning students. After retiring Jean and Larry shared their love of travel and flying and were married at Sun ‘N Fun in Florida, which they attended annually.  Jean’s family wish to extend a special thank you to the Willow staff at Cassellholme for their exemplary care and compassion.  At Jean’s request, there will be no services held.
