Obituary of Mary Pathena Yetman

Passed away peacefully, at Eastholme in Powassan on Thursday September 10^th, 2020 in her 91^st year. Mary was born on October 02, 1929 in Fortune, Newfoundland. Mary was the daughter of the late Winnifred Piercey and John Marknette.  Mom will be missed but never forgotten by her daughter Judy (Jim) and son Jeffery. Grandchildren Lindsay (Tom) and Graeme (Nina) as well as great granddaughter Ellika.  Mary is predeceased by her former husband Mac and father of her two children.  Her family and friends will always remember her for her kindness, love of life and laughter. Mary loved to walk, and she could walk for hours around her neighbourhood. Her home-made soups were the best.  Mary also leaves behind her brothers Jesse (Viola deceased), Aubrey (Myrtle) and sister Gladys (Dan deceased) and two nephews and one niece.  The family would like to thank the wonderful, caring staff at Eastholme and Dr. Ng for their exceptional care and compassion over the last five years.  Due to COVID restrictions, the family will be having a private memorial service. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Alzheimer’s Association would be greatly appreciated.
