Annemarie, Angela, and Tessie, our deepest sympathy for your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this most difficult time. Dickie will be sadly missed by all the lives he touched, family, friends, and the military family that he gave so much to.
I still remember the time I went to Germany on my UN leave, and I met up with him in the Mess. You were leaving the next day on holidays and you graciously offered to take me with you. Toured me around the area, and made sure I had a place to stay. Your kindness has never been forgotten. Dickie always had a story to tell, and I always found him to be happy and full of life.
