LIGHTFOOT: David George “Dave”

1932-2020

Sadly, Dave’s family announce his passing at his home on Sunday, July 12th, 2020. David George Lightfoot was the beloved husband of Geraldine (nee Hackley), he was 88 years old. Loving stepfather of Brad Allison and Brian Allison. He will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, Aaron (Alisha), Isaac, Jordaan, Benjamin, Sarah, and great grandchildren Alivia, Aviana, Judah and Miabella. Dave was predeceased by his parents John & Violet and by his siblings Carol, Lorraine, Jack and Peter. He worked to become a Third Class Stationary Engineer, working at both the North Bay Psychiatric Hospital and also at the Air Base in North Bay. A Memorial Service will be held at the Martyn Funeral Home on Thursday July 16th at 11:00 am.

Please note: as per the directive of the Bereavement Authority of Ontario, https://thebao.ca/registrars-directive-changes-to-funeral-and-visitation-attendance/ attendance numbers will be restricted. Please be aware that COVID protocols are in place which may preclude some from being able to attend and masks are mandatory.
