Obituary of Janet Lucille Argo

Passed away Friday May 22, 2020, due to a lengthy illness with cancer. Jan was the loving mother of Robert Facette (wife Dianne), Dave Facette, Beth Saulter (husband Mark), Mark Facette, and Marianne Daur. She will be remembered by her grandchildren Sam, Christy, Janine, Ben, Josh, Jordan and Charles; and by her great grandchildren Aviendha and Quinn. Jan is survived by her younger brother Lloyd (wife Lorraine) and predeceased by her parents Robert Argo and Gilberte (Betty) (nee Montreuil) and younger sister Carol. Jan was an Xray technician and retired from the Mattawa Hospital. She was a member of St. Anne's Roman Catholic Church and Mattawa Algonquin native community. Jan liked to travel and was a member of Friendship Force for many years. She enjoyed traveling to other countries to stay in sponsored homes, as well as sponsoring others. A celebration of Jan’s life will be held at a later date. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
