Barb, I was so sorry to hear of your mom's passing. She sounded like such a wonderful woman. I knew she was a talented seamstress and a special mom, but I had no idea she was a hockey player too. What an interesting life story! May all of your memories be a comfort to you and your family at this difficult time.

Thanks for your kind words Janet. Yes, Mom absolutely loved hockey. She also played basketball and taught swimming lessons at Trout Lake Marina when I was little before moving on to being a Brown Owl for a couple of years.
