LOUNDS: James Edward “Jim”

 

Sadly the family of Jim, announce his passing at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on Sunday, January 26^th, 2020. He was 85 years old. Loving brother of Vivian and Brian both of Toronto, Mike (Shirley) of Winnipeg, Pat (Jane) of Mattawa, Kate of Sharpe Lake and predeceased by Jerry. He will be lovingly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Jim was also predeceased by his parents Wilbert and Muriel Lounds. Sadly missed by his fishing friend Bunny.  He worked for many years in the Greater Toronto Area, on many large construction projects including buildings, highway bridges and even the CN Tower. But Jim’s favourite place on earth was Six Mile lake in Quebec, and he looked forward to fishing it as often as possible. Respecting Jim’s wishes cremation will take place and his ashes will be buried this spring with family in the St.Anne’s Cemetery in Mattawa. If desired, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by his family. Arrangements entrusted to the Martyn & Sloan “Mattawa Chapel”
