Sadly Doug’s family announce his sudden passing on Sunday, December 8^th, 2019, at the Mattawa Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Cecile Blanche (nee Miller), he was 69 years old. Loving father of Billy, Jenny, Michael, Savannah, Daniel and Nancy. He will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Jonathan, Cody, Kimberly, Krista, Keri and by his great grandchildren Addisyn, Trinity and Nevaeh. Dear brother of Christabelle, Sonny and he was predeceased by his sister Lucy. He will also be remembered by Diane Kelly and the Kelly Family. Doug was well thought of for his work ethic, for many years he work in Mattawa for Tembec. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Anne’s Roman Catholic Church on Saturday, December 14^th at 11:00 am. Interment of ashes will take place in the family plot at St. Anne’s Cemetery, in the spring of 2020. If desired, donations to the Crohn's and Colitis Canada would be appreciated by the family.
