Obituary of Mary Elizabeth Belanger

Belanger, Mary Elizabeth (nee Gervais)

Passed away peacefully with family by her side at the Algonquin Nursing Home on Monday, November 25, 2019, she was 87 years.  Beloved wife of the late Fernand Belanger.  Cherished mother of Edward (Lise), Gaetan Belanger (Donna), Ghislain (Lise), Rejean (Lori), Doris Malson (Pat) Fleurette Belanger, Jean-Marc (Pierrette) and Jeannette (Yves).   Proud grandmother of 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.   She was predeceased by all of her siblings.   Mary will be lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.  Family will receive friends at the MARTYN & SLOAN “Mattawa Chapel” on Thursday, November 28, 2019 from 7-9 p.m.  A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Anne’s Church on Friday, November 29, 2019 at 11:30 a.m.  Burial will take place at St. Anne’s Cemetery.  If desired, donations to the Algonquin Nursing Home would be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy.
