Barrett, Helen Frances (McLeod)

Passed away surrounded by her family on Friday November 22, 2019 at age 81.  Wife of Ron (predeceased), sister to Jim McLeod, Shirley Paul (Tom predeceased), Barbra Veraldi (Peter), Debbie Osborne (Pat), Shelly Fletcher, Patti Burke.  Mother to Jeffrey (Cheryl), and Stephen. Grandmother to Xander, Sabrina and Aiden, and Aunt to many nieces and nephews. Helen was always helping others, she was a nurse on 4 West at the North Bay Civic Hospital for 35 years, and after retiring became the seamstress for 18 years at Waters Edge. Helen enjoyed life, whether it was taking the occasional trip with her sisters, or simply sitting outside enjoying the warmth of the sun. The family would like to thank all those who helped with her care. Following her wishes, there will be no service. If desired, a donation to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
