Obituary of Marlene Ann Walton

Please share a memory of Marlene to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Walton, Marlene Ann

On Thursday November 21st, 2019, in her 76th year. Welcomed into heaven by her beloved husband Robert of 53 years. Marlene was predeceased by her parents Michael (Kolikowich) and Helen (Konarski). Marlene was the mother to Kevin (Jenna) and Michael (Lisa). She will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Grant, Graham, Victoria, Kendra and Anna. She will be sadly missed by her sister Patricia (Pete) and her niece Tia and her nephew Nikolas. Marlene also leaves behind her extended family of Tom (Pat), Stan (Edy), Marj (Joe predeceased), Jim (Louise), Ken, Joyce (predeceased) and many nieces and nephews.  With Robert at her side she delighted in the outdoors as a fisherwoman and camper. She loved sitting beside a campfire sharing “stories” with her family and friends. She spent many hours doting on her family, forever asking “can you do me a favour?”, never to turn away anyone in need.

In keeping with her wishes, she has been cremated at Forest Lawn Crematorium, North Bay. Memorial services will take place in the spring. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the North Bay Regional Health Centre - Mental Health and the Canadian Diabetes Association. Arrangements are entrusted to MARTYN FUNERAL HOME.
