SUTHERLAND (nee Willcox): Gertrude Crosbie

In her 87th year, passed away peacefully at Nipissing Manor, on Tuesday, November 19th, 2019. Gertrude was predeceased by her late husband Peter and a loving mother to David and his partner Amanda Foster of Edmonton, Peter and his wife Karen, Nancy Partridge and her husband Randy both of North Bay and her son-in-law, Doug Cook (Viviane Labranche) of Sudbury. Predeceased by her daughter Susan Cook and by her granddaughter Jennifer Brady. She will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Shelly (Roland), Tyler (Nikki), Shannon (Roland), Jason (Samantha), Katelyn (Brandon), Lauren and by her 8 great grandchildren. She was also predeceased by her parents Roland and Christine Willcox and her sister, Connie Rowe. A graveside service will be held with St. John’s Anglican Church in the spring of 2020 followed by a celebration of life. If desired, donations to the North Bay Regional Health Centre Foundation Cancer Care Close to Home Campaign would be appreciated by her family. The family would like to express their profound gratitude and thank the nurses and staff at Nipissing Manor for the special care and kindness that our mother received.
