Three days ago would have been my mom (Lillian Stewart's) 95th Birthday and I thought of her all day, felt the loss of noting having her at our family for dinner on her special day, but feeling so richly blessed that 95 years ago that day she was brought into this world - and her presence in our lives has forever changed us. She has become apart of us and a piece of her love will stay alive in our hearts forever more. The world became a better, kinda and warmer place because Lillian Elizabeth Stewart was In it. I will remain grateful to our Lord (for all my life), that I was blessed to be her daughter.

My sweet grandma was someone I always looked up to as a strong woman with a heart of gold. I shared many memories with her in my 38 years of life. Grandma taught me: to follow my heart; to be a good human; to respect my family and close friends; to set the goals I wanted for myself/ family; and taught me how to celebrate achievements. I will always be so thankful and greatful for having been blessed to have such an amazing role model in my life. Xoxo

Elizabeth and I became friends in Timmins when her grandson Bill and my son Richard started to hang out. Later hen she moved to North Bay and I started to work there myself we continued to share family visits and kept in touch. I was thankful for her influence and example on my family. They came to love her and respect her opinions. RIP my friend. I miss you already.

I am truly blessed to have had a grandmother like this marvellous woman! She lived an ordinary life extraordinarily. I could talk to her about absolutely anything. She would listen and chime in with her own life experiences as well. So relevant! Right to the end, she was my cheerleader and lover of my deepest soul. I had a connection with her that I doubt will ever happen again. Oh I will miss you.
Until we meet again.
