Haggart - Bernice Aileen

Born June 12, 1931 at North Bay, Bernice (nee Robinson) died peacefully at the North Bay Regional Health Center, on Monday, May 27, 2019, at the age of 87 years.  For the past 66 years she has been the beloved wife of Kenneth "Ken" Haggart.  The proud and loving mother of Doug of Alberta, Karen Lecappelain (Steve), and Jeff both of North Bay, she will also be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Amy, Curtis, Lisa, Jenna, Steven and Shannon, and by all of her great grandchildren.  Bernice will be sadly missed by her sisters Delta Scott (Don predeceased) and Beverly Wood (Bob) all of North Bay and sister-in-law Lucille "Babe" Robinson (late Art) of Rouyn-Noranda. She was predeceased by her father Archie Robinson and her mothers Lucy Stanton and Helen Rennette as well as her brother Arthur Robinson and sister Eileen South. She will also be fondly remembered by her sister-in-law Marilyn Haggart and brother-in-law Neil Haggart and her many nieces and nephews. Bernice retired in 1996 from the former Towers and Zellers Department Stores. She and Ken spent many enjoyable hours during the summers at their trailer. A dedicated wife, mother and grandmother, she and Ken enjoyed time with their family and their retirement years together. Burial will be at 12:00 noon, at the Forest Lawn Cemetery followed by a Celebration of Life at Indulge by Sugar Daddy's, 540 Lakeshore Drive (back entrance), on Saturday, June 1st from 2:00 to 4:00. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart & Stroke Fund or the Alzheimer Society will be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy.
