Passmore : Delbert “Del”

Feb 22, 1939 – Apr 29, 2019

The family announces with sadness the passing of Delbert (Del) Wayne Passmore, the beloved husband of 56 years of Brenda (Hill) Passmore.  Father of Reade (friend Wendy) and Ryan (friend Erin), Grandfather of Grace, Hailey and Regan.

Del worked at the Ministry of Transportation for 35 years, retiring in 1993.  As a hobby, Del restored antique cars and trucks being a member of the Historical Automobile Society of Canada since 1962. Since his retirement he became a Jeep enthusiast and enjoyed trail and Jeep jamborees.

Del leaves his sisters Elsie Lawrence (Wilbur deceased), Joy Humphrey (Don deceased), and brother Jerry (Pat).

He is predeceased by this parents Florence (Steed) and Thomas Passmore, brothers Bert (Betty-deceased), Alan (Jeannette-deceased), George (Beatrice-deceased, Corrine), Don,

 and sister Noreen Hall (Jock).  He leaves behind several nieces and nephews.

Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday May 11, 2019, between 1pm and 4pm at the Holiday Inn, 1325 Seymour Street, North Bay.
