MASON, Margaret (nee White) - Passed away Friday March 22, 2019 at the age of 85. Married July 27, 1974 in Barrie, Ontario, Margaret was the dear wife of Jim Mason for 44 years. She was the daughter of the late Hugh and Gladys White. Predeceased by her brothers Gordon (Sheila, also predeceased), Lloyd (Betty), and Douglas (Norma, also predeceased) and by her sister Betty Lipnicky (Steve, also predeceased). Sister-in-law of Paul and Leanne Mason and Donna Lewis (Wally predeceased). Survived by nephews Ron, Dale, Chris, Tim and John White, Stephen Mason, John and Wayne Lewis, Jerry, David and Randy Lipnicky and by nieces Gwen Storie, Connie Young, Judy White, Nancy Falconer, Lesley Burrison and Teresa Lewis. Also survived by several great nieces and nephews. Predeceased by nephews Richard and Hugh White. When Marg retired, she had been teaching for 35 years. She enjoyed nature, being outdoors and most sports. She also loved animals, especially dogs. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Marg’s life will be held at the MARTYN FUNERAL HOME on Saturday April 6th starting at 2 pm. Marg`s ashes will be buried in the Alliston Union Cemetery at a later date. Special thanks to the Empire Living Centre. If desired donations to the Gathering Place would be appreciated.
