Obituary of Bernadin Arthur Paré

Bernadin (Ben) Paré, was born on April 9^th, 1936 and passed away at the Mattawa Hospital on Saturday March 23, 2019. He was 82 years old. Dear husband of Ghislaine Asselin of Mattawa.  Loving father of René and Cindy-Lee from Calgary, Alberta and Manon and Raymond from Montréal, QC. Also missed by Ghislaine’s children Ginette and Bruce of Mattawa, Gaétan and Lise of Mattawa and Monique and Claude of Macamic, QC. Survived by his brothers and sisters Gustave of Rouyn-Noranda, QC, Gemma of Lac-Mégantic, QC, Louisette and Raymond of Laurinville, QC, Guy of Rouyn-Noranda,QC, Gisèle and Jacques of Notre-Dame du Nord, QC, Rollande of Rouyn-Norande, QC and Nicole of Ville-Marie, QC. He is predeceased by his first wife Isabelle Asselin and his daughter Linda Paré.  Ben also leaves behind many grand kids, great grand kids, family and friends. A special thanks to Dr. Wilkins, Dr. Williams and all the staff from Mattawa Hospital for the great care.  Friends may call at the Martyn & Sloan ‘Mattawa Chapel’ on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm and Saturday from 9:30-10:30 am.  The funeral mass will be held at St. Anne’s Church on Saturday at 11 am. Cremation will follow at the Forest Lawn Crematorium.
