Nicolson, Beryl Ruth (nee Major)

Passed away peacefully at Cassellholme on Wednesday, February 13, 2019, at the age of 90. Beloved wife of the late Samuel Nicolson who predeceased her August 14, 2002. Cherished mother of Elizabeth Nicolson. Proud grandmother of Derek, Samantha, Nathan, and great grandmother of Aidan, Mackenzie, and Max. Beryl is predeceased by her sisters Bea, Bertha, Betty, Joan, and Beverly. She is survived by her nieces Bev, Jill, Linda, Joanne, and nephews Chris and David. Beryl followed several rewarding careers including the Canadian military, secretarial, and music teacher. She loved to travel and while living in Germany she toured Europe and the Middle East. She was a dedicated supporter and member of North Bay’s Laurentian Wesleyan Church where she volunteered as the organist and music director. Respecting Beryl’s wishes cremation will take place at the Forest Lawn Crematorium. A celebration of life will take place at Laurentian Wesleyan Church in the Spring of 2019.
