My condolences to Fred's family. Fred and I became friends here in Halifax, at the Public Archives of N.S. Fred and I loved tracing our family trees, his family from Purcell's Cove and mine just down the road in Ketch Harbour and Sambro. The last time Fred was down he asked me to do some work for him, he said he would not be making the trip again. So over the summer I researched what he wanted and then he emailed me and said, that's great, that's all I need. I'm finished. Fred, we will all miss you, your stories, and your friendship. I can see you now Fred, shaking hands with all those ancestors in Heaven, a big smile on your face. Lovingly remembered, Linda
