Schreck, Katharina Gertrude

Passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Sunday, November 18, 2018 at the North Bay Regional Health Centre, she was in her 98^th year.  Beloved mother of Elke Archer (Steve) of North Bay, Ingrid Ducsharm (Dave predeceased) of Grande Prairie, Reiner Schreck of Grande Prairie, Andy Schreck of Winnipeg, Emil Schreck (Bev) of St. John, NB and predeceased by her son Peter Schreck in 1992.  Proud grandmother of many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Katharina is predeceased by her parents Johann & Katharina Zehethofer, her siblings Margaretha, Berta, Maria and Mitzl.  Family will receive friends at the MARTYN FUNERAL HOME on Thursday, November 22, 2018 from 2-4 p.m. & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Friday, November 23, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.  Burial will take place at Forest Lawn Cemetery.  Family would like to thank the medical staff of 3D at North Bay Regional Health Centre for their excellent care of Katharina.  If desired, donations to the Nipissing Serenity Hospice or the Redeemer Lutheran Church.  Online condolences at www.martynfh.com
