Belisle: Robert “Bob”

It is with great sadness that the family of Bob Belisle, announce his passing at the North Bay Regional Health Centre, on Wednesday, October 10, 2018. Bob was the beloved husband of Barbara (nee Cronk), he was 74 years old. Loving father of Richard Belisle (Rebecca) of North Bay and Donald Belisle (Bruce Steen) of Ottawa. He will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Robert and Lily. Dear brother of Edgar Belisle (Laurette), Cecile Comtois (late Marcel), Rene Belisle and Marcelle Dutrisac (late Marcel). He was predeceased by his parents Albert and Estelle, and by his siblings Germain Belisle (Anita – living) and Omer Belisle (Colette – living). Bob was a well-known and respected entrepreneur in North Bay.  His grandchildren brought him great joy. He was a true northerner enjoying the outdoors and fishing. Also, he and Barbara enjoyed getting away for an evening of gaming at Casino Rama and sometimes even Vegas! Visitation will be held in the Martyn Funeral Home on Monday October 15, 2018 from 2 to 4:00 and 7 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held at the Pro-Cathedral of the Assumption on Tuesday, October 16th, 2018 at 10 a.m. Interment at the Holy Cross Cemetery. If desired, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, the Canadian Cancer Society or Nipissing Serenity Hospice would be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy.
