Obituary of Mary Ellen Nickerson

Nickerson, Mary Ellen (1946-2018) Passed away Oct 6 in the comfort of her home after a hard fought battle with cancer. Surrounded by her husband of 51 years,Malcolm, daughter Susan (Joe) Gardiner and son Dr. Phil (Nicole) Nickerson. She leaves behind her loving sister Carolyn (Bill) Swainson and brother Everett (Loretta) Mullen. Mary Ellen always looked forward to her travels but was happiest at home feeding a table full of family and friends and watching the sunsets across the lake. She was known for her smile, hospitality and dedication to her family. A heartfelt thank you to Bonita RN, Lori Lee (LHIN) and Lori, OT for the incredible care and support you have all provided Mary Ellen and her family. As per Mary Ellen's wishes, there will be no funeral service. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society are appreciated.
