Obituary of Cécile Jeanne Marie Lamothe

Cécile went to join her husband Dorinel on Wednesday September 5, 2018 in her 93^rd year.  They were married June 29, 1947. Her loving spouse passed away on December 9, 1987. She is also predeceased by her parents Moïse Emery and Valeda (née Vallière), and her siblings Henri, Alfred and Thérèse. Survived by her sisters Rita, Noëlla and Irène and sister-in-law, Nellie. Loving mother of Aline (Garry Caplette), Gaëtanne (Jean Bélanger), Colette (Dan Rivet) and Jacques (Brenda). Cécile also leaves behind 9 grandchildren: Kim Bérubé, Lysa Villeneuve, Jill Casselman, Jason Bélanger, Ryan Bélanger, Cindy Caplette, Mark Caplette, Meaghan Lamothe and Maureen Lamothe and 17 great-grandchildren. Friends may call at the Martyn & Sloan “Mattawa Chapel” on Friday, September 7, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral mass will be held at St. Anne’s Church on Saturday at 11 am. Interment at St. Anne’s Cemetery.  If desired, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Alzheimers Society would be appreciated.
