SMILEY: Margaret “Thelma”

Passed away peacefully at the Algonquin Nursing Home in Mattawa, on Tuesday, August 14th, 2018. Thelma was the beloved wife of the late Donald Smiley, she was 76 years old. She was the daughter of the late Archie & Elsie Smiley. She is predeceased by her sister in law Mabel Blake (nee Duhaime). Her many nieces, nephews and cousins will sadly miss her. Thelma and Don were long time residents of Mattawa, where she was an active member of the St. Albans Anglican Church and the Mattawa Golden Age Club. A Visitation will be held at the Martyn & Sloan “Mattawa Chapel” on Friday August 17th from 11:00 am until time for a Funeral Service in the Funeral Home at 12:30 PM. Interment will take place in the family plot at the Pine Hill Cemetery on Monday, August 20, 2018 at 1:30 p.m. Family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Algonquin Nursing Home for the excellent care of Thelma during her stay there.  If desired, donations to St. Albans the Martyr Anglican Church would be appreciated by the family.
